Through the various forms on this site:

• Contact signup (homepage + footer): name (optional), email (optional), phone (optional)
• RSVP form: name, house number, party size, what you're bringing
• Potluck form: name, address, what you're bringing
• Photo uploader: photos you upload, plus optional name and caption
• Community board / Q&A: name, address, your message
• Pitmaster profile: name, address, smoker details, menu

We also collect basic usage analytics (page views, referrer) via Vercel Web Analytics. No third-party advertising trackers.

• Coordinating the event — knowing who's coming, who's bringing what.
• Sending announcements about future Bard Bash events via email and/or SMS — only if you opt in via the “Stay in the Loop” form.
• Operating and improving the site.

We don't sell your information or share it with advertisers. We do use these service providers to operate the site:

• Postmark — sends email on our behalf
• Twilio — sends SMS on our behalf
• Neon — hosts our database
• Vercel — hosts the site and provides analytics
• Cloudflare — DNS

We share only what each provider needs to do its job.

If you provide a phone number and check the consent box on our signup form, we may text you about future Bard Bash events. Message frequency is low — typically 2–4 messages per year. Message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier.

You can text STOP to any of our messages at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. By submitting the signup form with consent, you agree to these terms and this Privacy Policy.

You can ask us to:

• See what info we have on you
• Update or delete it
• Stop sending you messages

This site isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.

If we update this policy we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
